Suicide
Easy death
(I tried to kill the pain)
(But only brought more)
Cut wrists
Draining my blood
(I lay dying)
(And I知 pouring crimson regret and betrayal)
I tried to die
But I want to live
(I知 dying, praying, bleeding and screaming)
(Am I too lost to be saved?)
(Am I too lost?)
It is too late
god save me
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
Be my tourniquet
Make my blood cease to flow
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
I know I gave up
But please take me back
(Do you remember me?)
(Lost for so long)
If I die, greet me
If I live, save me
(Will you be on the other side?)
(Or will you forget me)
I'm bleeding
Praying to you
(I知 dying, praying, bleeding and screaming)
(Am I too lost to be saved?)
(Am I too lost?)
Save my life
Fill me with blood anew
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
save me
Heal all my wounds
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
I want to leave
Just get away
(I want to die!!!)
I'm praying to you
Have you forgotten me
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
I want to die
But I have found you again
(My God my tourniquet)
(Return to me salvation)
I cry to be heard
Save me god
(My wounds cry for the grave)
(My soul cries for deliverance)
Don't forget me
Don't forget
(Will I be denied Christ?)
(Tourniquet)
(My suicide)

I want to live

I find that people who rely too much on God to save them, especially when they're already bleeding to death, don't tend to have a high survival rate. Some people say that's because God sees suicide as wrong and wants to punish them, but I would argue that God just doesn't exist. Or if he does, he's not the all-powerful being he's portrayed as. It's not that God doesn't want to save people; he just can't--which is why I find people who seriously believe in the power of prayer to be absolutely hilarious. Though sometimes I do want to say, "God can't help you! Stop crying to him and fix it yourself."

You know a tourniquet is actually a badage, so when evanescence sings 'My god my tourniquet' it's like saying my god my bandage.
anyway, useless random fact of the day....

Great poem.
I'll look forward to reading more of your work, but now i haff to go to school... Stupid lousy school....

lol, thanks, but a tourniquet is also a device that is tichtened around veigns to make them stop bleeding. it cuts off circulation to a part og the body..i took in in that meaning, tho the other way also works well. Thanks so much for the :+devwatch: i really appreciate it. i hope u like what you see
